Jochen Bülau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kahramankent FC. Mürsel Tosun might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jochen Bülau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mürsel Tosun ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Kahramankent FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Haluk Erkılıç hit a great ball. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 46th minute, but Şentürk Garipbaş got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Kahramankent FC hanging dry this time. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mürsel Tosun to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Kahramankent FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hazım Kayral came free, but Şentürk Garipbaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Haluk Erkılıç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Mürsel Tosun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Mürsel Tosun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jochen Bülau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mürsel Tosun went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 93rd minute Mürsel Tosun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jochen Bülau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bordo-Mavi's Akil Cintay got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Bordo-Mavi fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kahramankent FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
