Spectators: 6669 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mehmet Hakkı Sümeroğlu started the match with the kick off. Turgut Nebi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aras Çağman in the 3rd minute of play. Aras Çağman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turgut Nebi having to interfere. Şanver Yeten hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Vefa Şıran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Girne FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vefa Şıran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Vefa Şıran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Galip Temcit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Girne FK's goal looked a bit too open when Galip Temcit came free, but Turgut Nebi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aras Çağman in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Turgut Nebi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, Girne FK's goal looked a bit too open when Galip Temcit came free, but Turgut Nebi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Aras Çağman made a precise shot to the right of Turgut Nebi. Girne FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 36th minute Aras Çağman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgut Nebi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Aras Çağman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Turgut Nebi. Girne FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aras Çağman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 40 minutes into the match, Aras Çağman notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Girne FK's Turgut Nebi. Turgut Nebi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Samatya FK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aras Çağman to strike the kick off in the second half. The nice shot from Galip Temcit in the 52ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Turgut Nebi had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. With a little luck, Girne FK's Turgut Nebi got control of the ball when Şanver Yeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Galip Temcit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genco Özveren kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes in the game, Galip Temcit fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Turgut Nebi having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Aras Çağman took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Turgut Nebi to make any attempt to save it. 70 minutes into the match, Girne FK's goalkeeper Turgut Nebi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Galip Temcit. Aras Çağman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Turgut Nebi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Galip Temcit in the 72nd minute. After 74 minutes of play, Samatya FK's Galip Temcit made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Turgut Nebi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Girne FK defense, Galip Temcit kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Turgut Nebi. The Girne FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Turgut Nebi should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the game, Recep Talha Hisar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samatya FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Girne FK the free kick. Recep Talha Hisar kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Şanver Yeten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Samatya FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
