Akil Cintay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute of the match, Zülfü İskenderoğlu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jochen Bülau was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zülfü İskenderoğlu struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Jochen Bülau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oguzlar JK. Mehmet Efe Saru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baycan Özkutlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Zülfü İskenderoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jochen Bülau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Jochen Bülau successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ertuğrul Şirzat took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jochen Bülau. Jochen Bülau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ertuğrul Şirzat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ertuğrul Şirzat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jochen Bülau having to interfere. If Zülfü İskenderoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zekai Okay charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zekai Okay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zekai Okay hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Baycan Özkutlu struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Mehmet Efe Saru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bordo-Mavi. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ertuğrul Şirzat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jochen Bülau had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Nuh Vasif's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Oguzlar JK's Mehmet Efe Saru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hazım Kayral in the 61st minute of play. Baycan Özkutlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Efe Saru having to interfere. If Hazım Kayral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ertuğrul Şirzat in the 70th minute of play forced Bordo-Mavi's goalkeeper Jochen Bülau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Oguzlar JK's Zülfü İskenderoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jochen Bülau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hazım Kayral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Efe Saru having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dursun Ali Hiçyılmaz couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Bordo-Mavi's zone, Zülfü İskenderoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jochen Bülau came out of the goal and Zülfü İskenderoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oguzlar JK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
