A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With his leg Jochen Bülau managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Samatya FK's Galip Temcit fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hazım Kayral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Melik Bozkaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. From a short distance, Samatya FK's Aras Çağman, in the 24th minute, tried to place the ball behind Jochen Bülau, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Aras Çağman's late challenge caught a Bordo-Mavi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aras Çağman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Aras Çağman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hazım Kayral in the 41st minute of play forced Samatya FK's goalkeeper Melik Bozkaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 minutes of play, Bordo-Mavi's Baycan Özkutlu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melik Bozkaya was left in no man's land by his defense there! 48 minutes into the game, Galip Temcit was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samatya FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bordo-Mavi the free kick. After a rather tough play, Samatya FK's Galip Temcit got a free kick in the 48th minute. The Samatya FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bordo-Mavi were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aras Çağman made a kick off. Galip Temcit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jochen Bülau having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bordo-Mavi's zone, Galip Temcit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jochen Bülau came out of the goal and Galip Temcit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Galip Temcit in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jochen Bülau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jochen Bülau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aras Çağman in the 79th minute of play. Şanver Yeten charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Şanver Yeten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Samatya FK getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Şanver Yeten hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Aras Çağman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
