When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Hasan Can Tokhan put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Turgut Nebi. A collision led to Bekilli JK getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Batuğ Ulu hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Girne FK's goal looked a bit too open when Hasan Can Tokhan came free, but Turgut Nebi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hasan Can Tokhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turgut Nebi having to interfere. Mehmet Hakkı Sümeroğlu's late challenge caught a Bekilli JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehmet Hakkı Sümeroğlu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Girne FK's Mehmet Hakkı Sümeroğlu got a free kick in the 44th minute. Bekilli JK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Batuhan Bahçıvan in the 47th minute. The corner ended in Hasan Can Tokhan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Girne FK's Turgut Nebi did a great save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hasan Can Tokhan was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gündüz Şikel got free with Turgut Nebi in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Turgut Nebi managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Bekilli JK's Gündüz Şikel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 56 minutes into the game, Hasan Can Tokhan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Turgut Nebi. Hasan Can Tokhan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. When Hasan Can Tokhan came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Bekilli JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hasan Can Tokhan couldn't finish the play. Gündüz Şikel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Turgut Nebi made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Hasan Can Tokhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gündüz Şikel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th match minute, Bekilli JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aral Şimşektürk to maneuver through the defense. Girne FK's Turgut Nebi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hasan Can Tokhan in the 90th minute of play. Gündüz Şikel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Turgut Nebi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasan Can Tokhan in the 93rd minute of play. Gündüz Şikel in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Turgut Nebi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bekilli JK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
