The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Kale JK got a freekick which was hit by Hakkı Devrim Serkut. The supporters of Kale JK booed when Gölmarmara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uluç Ulutan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arif Gaffar Taci hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Gölmarmara's goal looked a bit too open when Atilla Necat came free, but Vahit Talip reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Kale JK booed when Gölmarmara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hacı Cenger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kale JK's Turan Payam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Kale JK from getting a goal against them. Burhanettin Tüzmen hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Vahit Talip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilla Necat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bumin Oytunç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Turan Payam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute of the match, Burhanettin Tüzmen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Turan Payam saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Kale JK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Hakkı Devrim Serkut hit a great ball. Burhanettin Tüzmen hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When Kale JK's Atilla Necat in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gölmarmara's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Burhanettin Tüzmen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gölmarmara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Burhanettin Tüzmen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Burhanettin Tüzmen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 41 played minutes Kale JK got a freekick which was hit by Sarp Çavas. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Refik Yıldızhan made a kick off. If Refik Yıldızhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilla Necat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Gölmarmara's goal looked a bit too open when Refik Yıldızhan came free, but Vahit Talip reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samet Kayı kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Uluç Ulutan struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Turan Payam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gölmarmara. Bumin Oytunç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turan Payam having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Burhanettin Tüzmen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gölmarmara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A hard shot by Ahmet Ziya Tugay from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Vahit Talip's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Bumin Oytunç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Turan Payam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Burhanettin Tüzmen's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Bumin Oytunç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 81 minutes, Refik Yıldızhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kale JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Refik Yıldızhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atilla Necat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Vahit Talip made a huge save. In the 89th minute of the match, Atilla Necat got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vahit Talip was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Refik Yıldızhan in the 90th minute of play forced Gölmarmara's goalkeeper Vahit Talip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Turan Payam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burhanettin Tüzmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kale JK's Turan Payam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bumin Oytunç in the 95th minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Burhanettin Tüzmen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gölmarmara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Burhanettin Tüzmen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gölmarmara's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
