In the 10th match minute, Saraybahce FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakkı Deniz Ersayın to maneuver through the defense. Abdulaziz Mutlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Müslüm Yatman in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Hakkı Deniz Ersayın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute of the match Celal Uman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdulaziz Mutlu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 18th match minute, Saraybahce FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Harun Sıratullah to maneuver through the defense. Aybar İrgun scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdulaziz Mutlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sertel Sayıl took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abdulaziz Mutlu. Saraybahce FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ahmet Fikret Şahiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 minutes of play Saraybahce FK's Abdullah Hizanlı was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 40 played minutes Saraybahce FK got a freekick which was hit by Abdullah Hizanlı. In the 46th minute, Müslüm Yatman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eye Of The Tiger fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Müslüm Yatman was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Aybar İrgun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eye Of The Tiger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aybar İrgun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Müslüm Yatman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Abdulaziz Mutlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Eye Of The Tiger's zone, Ahmet Fikret Şahiner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seyhan Siyami came out of the goal and Ahmet Fikret Şahiner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute, Ünal Suerkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Müslüm Yatman struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Abdulaziz Mutlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eye Of The Tiger. The supporters of Eye Of The Tiger booed when Saraybahce FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Deniz Ersayın didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Ahmet Fikret Şahiner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saraybahce FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Fikret Şahiner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seyhan Siyami breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kutlay Tanaydin kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Ahmet Fikret Şahiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyhan Siyami having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Eye Of The Tiger walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
