In the 19th minute Tolunay Batır shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rasim Sayın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lokman Hacıbeyoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the ALPY FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lokman Hacıbeyoğlu couldn't finish the play. Beratspor's Mecnun Akbudun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rasim Sayın in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rafet Akburçak came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by ALPY FC's Rafettin Uğurcan. But to his dismay, Rafettin Uğurcan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Rafettin Uğurcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Lokman Hacıbeyoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafet Akburçak was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. A collision led to Beratspor getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Mecnun Akbudun hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half.
