With a little luck, Kilyos's Berkem Arman got control of the ball when Reşit Siret tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute Eralp Taykara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Burak Başar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reşit Siret could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Berkem Arman made a huge save. Cengiz Sebukalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Arif Burak Başar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kilyos's Kutlu Özgen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ali Faruk Taykoç in the 44 minute of the game. Cavaliers's Reşit Siret got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Reşit Siret off the ground. After a rather tough play, Cavaliers's Reşit Siret got a free kick in the 46th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafettin Şevket stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eralp Taykara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Burak Başar having to interfere.
