The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Güneri Saykut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samet Serkan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güneri Saykut in the 14th minute of play forced BANDIRMASPOR CCC's goalkeeper Samet Serkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BANDIRMASPOR CCC's Samet Serkan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save BANDIRMASPOR CCC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, BANDIRMASPOR CCC's Levent Sungurbay got a free kick in the 16th minute. A hard shot by Bekir Yanıker from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Samet Serkan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 19 minutes, Ferhat Sami mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BANDIRMASPOR CCC and the Tonya JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. BANDIRMASPOR CCC's Samet Serkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güneri Saykut in the 36th minute of play. Güneri Saykut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samet Serkan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Raik Ortunc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şemsettin Onguner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Güneri Saykut made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Güneri Saykut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samet Serkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sarper Ünlem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samet Serkan having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Sarper Ünlem made a precise shot to the right of Samet Serkan. BANDIRMASPOR CCC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 64 minutes into the match, Tonya JK's Güneri Saykut sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samet Serkan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 70 played minutes, Tonya JK's Bekir Yanıker shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Samet Serkan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tonya JK reached it. 72 minutes into the match, BANDIRMASPOR CCC's goal looked a bit too open when Sarper Ünlem came free, but Samet Serkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sarper Ünlem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samet Serkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güneri Saykut in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to BANDIRMASPOR CCC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ferhat Sami hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Coşkun Erguvan during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Karhan Ülkenur's late challenge caught a BANDIRMASPOR CCC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karhan Ülkenur helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, one of Tonya JK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tonya JK. The referee gave BANDIRMASPOR CCC a penalty, 98 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mehmet Hakkı Samet, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tonya JK's Raik Ortunc. 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
