Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adnan Kıncal took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Timur Ergül hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orbay Kumukbay in the 4th minute of play forced Kocaelispor's goalkeeper Ramiz Akaltan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nafiz Mutlu charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nafiz Mutlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nafiz Mutlu hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Adnan Kıncal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramiz Akaltan was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 10th minute, Nafiz Mutlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Şanver Özakay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Adnan Kıncal notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kocaelispor's Ramiz Akaltan. Ramiz Akaltan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute Şanver Özakay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Baki Yura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Şanver Özakay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 39 played minutes SnowflakeS Futbol Okulu got a freekick which was hit by Ali Çağrı Pekant. After having played for 40 minutes, Şanver Özakay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kocaelispor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şanver Özakay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Şanver Özakay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ahmet Baki Yura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half SnowflakeS Futbol Okulu were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ramiz Akaltan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adnan Kıncal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramiz Akaltan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adnan Kıncal in the 61st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Kuddusî Zeyni sped through SnowflakeS Futbol Okulu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ahmet Baki Yura. After 66 minutes of play, Kocaelispor's Güralp Ilgın made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Baki Yura was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ahmet Baki Yura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güralp Ilgın in the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Güralp Ilgın managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kocaelispor's supporters rose to their feet, but Güralp Ilgın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Baki Yura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adnan Kıncal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ramiz Akaltan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orbay Kumukbay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Ramiz Akaltan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 87 minutes into the match, SnowflakeS Futbol Okulu's goal looked a bit too open when Şanver Özakay came free, but Ahmet Baki Yura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şanver Özakay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute Şanver Özakay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Baki Yura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kocaelispor fans cheered their team off the field, for while SnowflakeS Futbol Okulu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
