Cihanbeyli FK's Ali Ömer Çetinoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulaş Zeyrek in the 92nd minute of play. Tevfik Yazgan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 98thth minute tested the skills of Ataol Tunçbay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Cihanbeyli FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cihanbeyli FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
