A very good chance. 33 minutes into the game, Tarkan Yalçın recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ferid Bozdoğan. Tarkan Yalçın showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ata Vuralhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hasan Tunçaslan, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute, GALATA 1905's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Halit Karasu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of GALATA 1905 booed when Aranan Adam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Songurhan Elmacı didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
