The referee ignored Veliöldük SK's protests and gave Nihat Osman a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Veliöldük SK got a freekick which was hit by Nihat Osman. In the 9th match minute, Aydin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nejat Alp Azer to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Namık Atay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nihat Osman's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. When Kadri Akgöl fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aydin's protests and gave Kadri Akgöl a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Aydin's Kadri Akgöl got a free kick in the 17th minute. Mustafa Namık Atay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bilgin Okhan in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20thth minute of the game Nihat Osman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aydin's Mustafa Namık Atay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Bilgin Okhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erdi Uğurcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Vecdet İzhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erdi Uğurcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peyami Kurceren hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Servet Dervişoğlu in the 44th minute of play forced Veliöldük SK's goalkeeper Vecdet İzhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Bilgin Okhan got free with Mustafa Namık Atay in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Servet Dervişoğlu in the 61st minute of play forced Veliöldük SK's goalkeeper Vecdet İzhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bilgin Okhan might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mustafa Namık Atay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bilgin Okhan ran back to his position shaking his head. When Nihat Osman got free in front of the goal in the 63rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Mustafa Namık Atay was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Nihat Osman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Namık Atay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nihat Osman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doğaner Onurkan kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Erdi Uğurcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vecdet İzhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erdi Uğurcan in the 71st minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Erdi Uğurcan notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Veliöldük SK's Vecdet İzhan. Vecdet İzhan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Aydin's Kadri Akgöl got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Aydin's Mustafa Namık Atay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Aydin from getting a goal against them. Vecdet İzhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erdi Uğurcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Doğaner Onurkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Namık Atay having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Aydin fans cheered their team off the field, for while Veliöldük SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
