Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hasan Tunçaslan took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Güroymak getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Abdi Saygın Başsoy hit a great ball. Fikret Kırdars short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Ferid Bozdoğan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fikret Kırdar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erol Göçmen charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erol Göçmen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Güroymak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erol Göçmen to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, GALATA 1905's Hasan Tunçaslan got a free kick in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the game, GALATA 1905's Hasan Tunçaslan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Müslüm Türkol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. GALATA 1905's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Volkan Aktan 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Volkan Aktan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ferid Bozdoğan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GALATA 1905's Ferid Bozdoğan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erol Göçmen in the 45th minute of play.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Volkan Aktan to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, GALATA 1905's goal looked a bit too open when Fikret Kırdar came free, but Ferid Bozdoğan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fikret Kırdar in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferid Bozdoğan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56thth minute of the game Halim Özsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Güroymak's Müslüm Türkol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Güroymak getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Erol Göçmen hit a great ball. After 59 played minutes GALATA 1905 got a freekick which was hit by Nadir Tandoğdu. Bektaş Kazan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ferid Bozdoğan. GALATA 1905's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ferid Bozdoğan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fikret Kırdar in the 61st minute of play. Ferid Bozdoğan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fikret Kırdar, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Nadir Tandoğdu hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, one of GALATA 1905:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GALATA 1905. Bektaş Kazan shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The audience was convinced that Fikret Kırdar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferid Bozdoğan was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in GALATA 1905's zone, Volkan Aktan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferid Bozdoğan came out of the goal and Volkan Aktan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th match minute, GALATA 1905 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökhun Kıvılcım to maneuver through the defense. Volkan Aktan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Volkan Aktan made a precise shot to the right of Ferid Bozdoğan. GALATA 1905's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Ferid Bozdoğan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fikret Kırdar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Güroymak's Volkan Aktan in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Güroymak's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
