The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Selim Tükelalp kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ünsal Balısoy in the 6th minute of play forced Altinözü's goalkeeper Kubilay Talut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Altinözü's goal looked a bit too open when Ünsal Balısoy came free, but Kubilay Talut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ünsal Balısoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Kubilay Talut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Zülfikar Avcu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kubilay Talut was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Altinözü booed when Diyadin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sedat Oruz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Soner Garipbaş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Kubilay Talut made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ünsal Balısoy got free with Kubilay Talut in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th match minute, Altinözü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rüknettin Sezgin to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Altinözü's Zekeriya İncel seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zekeriya İncel the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Altinözü protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zekeriya İncel had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Altinözü:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Diyadin:s goal. In the 81st minute, Diyadin's Zülfikar Avcu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. With an all-out effort, Diyadin's Kubilay Talut threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zülfikar Avcu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kubilay Talut made an important save on a dangerous shot by Soner Garipbaş in the 85th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Altinözü's goal looked a bit too open when Zülfikar Avcu came free, but Kubilay Talut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kubilay Talut made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Soner Garipbaş sent off a good shot on target.
