Turan Kabil had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Latif Beybolat's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Erenay Hepyener might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nihat Tükelalp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erenay Hepyener ran back to his position shaking his head. Beyhan Çelik who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Nihat Tükelalp when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Hüseyin Turan Nesim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erenay Hepyener received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Nihat Tükelalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex De Souza FC's Nihat Tükelalp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Alex De Souza FC from getting a goal against them. When Erenay Hepyener came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the GALATASARAY FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erenay Hepyener couldn't finish the play. Beyhan Çelik in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nihat Tükelalp, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Erenay Hepyener recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Beyhan Çelik came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the GALATASARAY FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beyhan Çelik couldn't finish the play. Beyhan Çeliks short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Nihat Tükelalp to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karadeniz Turbay in the 40th minute of play forced GALATASARAY FC's goalkeeper Turan Kabil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to GALATASARAY FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Erenay Hepyener hit a great ball. Beyhan Çelik struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Nihat Tükelalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GALATASARAY FC.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karadeniz Turbay was the one to do the kick off. If Beyhan Çelik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
