Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aysan İmamoğlu got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Mehmet Hakkı Orun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cihangir Cihansah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Mertak FK fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Mertak FK's Mehmet Hakkı Orun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 14th minute of the match, Resulhan Akkan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Oğuzhan Acem was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Oğuzhan Acem was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Aysan İmamoğlu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aysan İmamoğlu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Elmadag's zone, Fikret Cenker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cihangir Cihansah came out of the goal and Fikret Cenker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Elmadag getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Pekin Hafızoğlu hit a great ball. Aysan İmamoğlu's late challenge caught a Mertak FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aysan İmamoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. Cihangir Cihansah stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mehmet Hakkı Orun's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 34 played minutes Mertak FK got a freekick which was hit by Fikret Cenker. Aysan İmamoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdulhamit Taşkınay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Cihangir Cihansah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mehmet Hakkı Orun made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Mehmet Hakkı Orun sped through Elmadag's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cihangir Cihansah. An unexpectedly hard shot by Resulhan Akkan in the 65th minute of play forced Mertak FK's goalkeeper Oğuzhan Acem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mertak FK's Fikret Cenker got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 78th match minute, Elmadag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Reha Özdinç to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Elmadag's goalkeeper Cihangir Cihansah had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Bedri Temcit. Oğuzhan Acem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pekin Hafızoğlu in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mertak FK's Abdulhamit Taşkınay got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 87 minutes, Fikret Cenker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mertak FK and the Elmadag players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Mertak FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fikret Cenker to maneuver through the defense. Resulhan Akkan scored 3-3 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oğuzhan Acem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mertak FK were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Elmadag to leave the ground with a draw.
