In the 5th minute Ercüment İncesu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gazi Kutsalan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gazi Kutsalan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cenap Şenyaşar in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Ahmet Haşim Uzalp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beşiktaş fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Rıza Korur kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Torbali's Yusuf Dürüst sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gazi Kutsalan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Torbali's Seyhan Uçanok was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gazi Kutsalan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gazi Kutsalan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ercüment İncesu in the 61st minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Güneş Başoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beşiktaş's supporters crossed their fingers, but Güneş Başoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahmet Haşim Uzalp scored 2-4 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Halis Kabil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 69 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş's goal looked a bit too open when Ercüment İncesu came free, but Gazi Kutsalan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Güneş Başoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Halis Kabil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
