Beşiktaş's Gazi Kutsalan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kağan Sağbilge in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Aglasun were awarded a corner. Eray Akçalı went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Eray Akçalı almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Beşiktaş's Gazi Kutsalan did a great save. Kağan Sağbilge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bekir Özkoc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ahmet Nedim Ersed fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aglasun's protests and gave Ahmet Nedim Ersed a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Ahmet Nedim Ersed hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Halit Ziya Hanefi's late challenge caught a Aglasun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Halit Ziya Hanefi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Halit Ziya Hanefi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bekir Özkoc scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gazi Kutsalan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Bekir Özkoc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aglasun's supporters rose to their feet, but Bekir Özkoc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gazi Kutsalan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 35 minutes, Ahmet Haşim Uzalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beşiktaş's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Haşim Uzalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bekir Özkoc in the 37th minute of play forced Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Gazi Kutsalan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Umut Şükrü had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Bahtiyar Semi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Aglasun defense, Bahtiyar Semi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Umut Şükrü. The Aglasun fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Umut Şükrü should have stopped the shot. Bekir Özkoc took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gazi Kutsalan. Gazi Kutsalan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. A collision led to Beşiktaş getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ahmet Haşim Uzalp hit a great ball. Mustafa Namık Candaner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Bekir Özkoc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gazi Kutsalan was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Mustafa Haydar Yordam capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mustafa Haydar Yordam really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. In the 95th minute Güneş Başoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umut Şükrü saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Beşiktaş fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Aglasun were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
