Spectators: 7201 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aytuğ Pektürk started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute Alpay Seçkiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferhat Özbekkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gadirlili Spor's Taha Kocaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aytuğ Pektürk in the 4th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Güroymak FK's goal looked a bit too open when Alpay Seçkiner came free, but Ferhat Özbekkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gadirlili Spor booed when Güroymak FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vehdi Üngörmüş didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Şerif Başar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Güroymak FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gadirlili Spor the free kick. In the 18th minute, Şerif Başar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samet Kuthan in the 22nd minute of play forced Gadirlili Spor's goalkeeper Taha Kocaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Samet Kuthan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gürhan Sayrak got free with Ferhat Özbekkan in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, Gadirlili Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Samet Kuthan came free, but Taha Kocaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bilge Kiner kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Aytuğ Pektürk scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Taha Kocaman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Güroymak FK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alpay Seçkiner to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Gadirlili Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Aytuğ Pektürk came free, but Taha Kocaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alpay Seçkiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferhat Özbekkan having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Aytuğ Pektürk fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Taha Kocaman, passed just outside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aytuğ Pektürk in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taha Kocaman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Taha Kocaman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samet Kuthan in the 61st minute. Taha Kocaman made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Samet Kuthan sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aytuğ Pektürk in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taha Kocaman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Güroymak FK's Taha Kocaman threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aytuğ Pektürk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Gadirlili Spor's Arda Baybars Derviş got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Samet Kuthan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Güroymak FK's Samet Kuthan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Taha Kocaman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Güroymak FK played a much better game than Gadirlili Spor and deserved their victory. The Gadirlili Spor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
