Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mustafa Hakan Sözmen started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Mustafa Hakan Sözmen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Turan FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sakarya FC the free kick. Turan FK's Günalp Ulunay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Turan FK from getting a goal against them. When Mustafa Hakan Sözmen came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Turan FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Hakan Sözmen couldn't finish the play. Günalp Ulunay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tevfik Boysel, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Tevfik Boysel notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Turan FK's Günalp Ulunay. Günalp Ulunay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 14th minute Tevfik Boysel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Günalp Ulunay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes of play, Turan FK's Mustafa Hakan Sözmen made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Çakabey Özçin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Turan FK's Günalp Ulunay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tevfik Boysel in the 20th minute of play. Şükrü Bakırcıoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Günalp Ulunay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Menderes Erboğa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Çakabey Özçin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tevfik Boysel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdulvahit Ülkenur's late challenge caught a Turan FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdulvahit Ülkenur helped the player get up and apologised. Menderes Erboğa might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Çakabey Özçin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Menderes Erboğa ran back to his position shaking his head. If Tevfik Boysel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tevfik Boysel made a kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Turan FK's goal looked a bit too open when Tevfik Boysel came free, but Günalp Ulunay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Turan FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for Sakarya FC. Alperen Sabeddin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Günalp Ulunay. 2-1. If Şükrü Bakırcıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. Çakabey Özçin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Hakan Sözmen in the 71st minute of the match. Günalp Ulunay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tevfik Boysel, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Sakarya FC's Şükrü Bakırcıoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Şükrü Bakırcıoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Sakarya FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şükrü Bakırcıoğlu couldn't finish the play. After having played for 88 minutes, Tevfik Boysel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sakarya FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tevfik Boysel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Turan FK's zone, Şükrü Bakırcıoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Günalp Ulunay came out of the goal and Şükrü Bakırcıoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Coşkun İşkembeci charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Coşkun İşkembeci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sakarya FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
