But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berker Şafakoğlu couldn't finish the play. Şaban Enbiya kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sivas SK's Haşmet Tuğrul got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 32nd minute Ziya Sevimli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batuhan Koytak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Rasim Coşkunsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ückuyular SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Rasim Coşkunsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Hakan Bayülgen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ückuyular SK's Batuhan Koytak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anıl Ozan Usberk in the 44th minute of play. Ückuyular SK's Rasim Coşkunsu got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rasim Coşkunsu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ückuyular SK's Soner Sefaaddin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ahmet Hakan Bayülgen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ahmet Hakan Bayülgen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rasim Coşkunsu in the 67th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Sivas SK got a freekick which was hit by Ali Kaan Taykurt. After a rather tough play, Sivas SK's Haşmet Tuğrul got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, Berker Şafakoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Hakan Bayülgen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmet Hakan Bayülgen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasim Coşkunsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Berker Şafakoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute.
