Ziya Sevimli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Vural Üke made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anıl Ozan Usberk in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vural Üke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sivas SK's Şaban Enbiya pulled a muscle in his leg after 6 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Kılıçalp Bozyiğit fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nakkastepe's protests and gave Kılıçalp Bozyiğit a yellow card for diving instead. Kılıçalp Bozyiğit kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. If Anıl Ozan Usberk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ziya Sevimli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Vural Üke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Sivas SK's goal looked a bit too open when Nusret Yücesan came free, but Ahmet Hakan Bayülgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Hakan Bayülgen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nusret Yücesan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Hakan Bayülgen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nusret Yücesan in the 35th minute of play. Anıl Ozan Usberk's late challenge caught a Nakkastepe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anıl Ozan Usberk helped the player get up and apologised. After recieving a nice pass, Nakkastepe's Fehmi Özak tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Nusret Yücesan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Hakan Bayülgen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 43 minutes into the match, Sivas SK's goal looked a bit too open when Nusret Yücesan came free, but Ahmet Hakan Bayülgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 minutes of play Nakkastepe's Kılıçalp Bozyiğit was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Nakkastepe getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Kılıçalp Bozyiğit hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ziya Sevimli to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Atakan Üstam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nakkastepe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atakan Üstam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute Haşmet Tuğrul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vural Üke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ziya Sevimli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 61stth minute of the game Ziya Sevimli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nakkastepe's Vural Üke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Atakan Üstam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Ahmet Hakan Bayülgen made a huge save. 65 minutes into the game, Atakan Üstam lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Ahmet Hakan Bayülgen. If Atakan Üstam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 70 minutes, Atakan Üstam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atakan Üstam couldn't finish the play. Ziya Sevimli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Nakkastepe booed when Sivas SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zülfü Perkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sivas SK's goalkeeper Ahmet Hakan Bayülgen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Haşmet Tuğrul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sivas SK's Ziya Sevimli got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nakkastepe's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
