Ali Galip Civan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goalkeeper Tuna Özbil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ünal Demirtaş. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galatasaray's goalkeeper Tuna Özbil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 14 minutes, Denizhan Okutman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KURTALAN90 and the Galatasaray players grew even worse after the yellow card. Denizhan Okutman kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 16 minutes, Ahmet Bülent Kuter made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. KURTALAN90's Bedrettin Kutlughan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute, Savaşer Sönmezalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Galatasaray defense, Kıvanç Nedret kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tuna Özbil. The Galatasaray fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tuna Özbil should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Galip Civan in the 35th minute of play forced Galatasaray's goalkeeper Tuna Özbil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bedrettin Kutlughan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Bülent Kuter in the 36th minute of play. Galatasaray's Tuna Özbil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Galatasaray from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galatasaray's goalkeeper Tuna Özbil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ünal Demirtaş stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Ünal Demirtaş who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galatasaray's Tuna Özbil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Ahmet Bülent Kuter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galatasaray's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KURTALAN90 the free kick. In the 55th match minute, Galatasaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Bülent Kuter to maneuver through the defense. Ünal Demirtaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Tuna Özbil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ünal Demirtaş in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tuna Özbil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of KURTALAN90 booed when Galatasaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lütfi Boztepe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galatasaray's Tuna Özbil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ünal Demirtaş in the 68th minute of play. Andaç Peker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Yasin İlcan hit a great ball. With his leg Bedrettin Kutlughan managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Galatasaray's Ahmet Bülent Kuter fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray's zone, Andaç Peker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tuna Özbil came out of the goal and Andaç Peker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute Savaşer Sönmezalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bedrettin Kutlughan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galatasaray were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over KURTALAN90's much stronger midfield.
