Abdurrahim Orcuns short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Mehmet Osman Övünç to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arın Orbey in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Osman Övünç saved siyah çoraplılar from getting behind. Mehmet Osman Övünç stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arın Orbey's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. If Osman Nuri Tarhun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20thth minute of the game Osman Nuri Tarhun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gölyaka's Şakir Mahçupyan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abdurrahim Orcun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Haşim Erendiz hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osman Nuri Tarhun to make the kick off.
