But to his dismay, Birdal Baytüzün quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Seyfi Pektürk might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sufi Urangu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Seyfi Pektürk ran back to his position shaking his head. Ali Çağrı Turan was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 74 played minutes YILLAR SK got a freekick which was hit by Ali Çağrı Turan. YILLAR SK's Birdal Baytüzün got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferhan İşçen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gündüz Sururi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Birdal Baytüzün got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gündüz Sururi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Nejat Celvet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferhan İşçen having to interfere. YILLAR SK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
