Fenerbahçe's Ercan Sani got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tansu Tolgunays short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Bayhan Metin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 22 minutes into the match, Abayhan Hançer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zekai Timur. Fenerbahçe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abayhan Hançer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Zekai Timur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abayhan Hançer, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Tansu Tolgunay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayhan Metin having to interfere. Tansu Tolgunay in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bayhan Metin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 35 minutes into the match, Tefenni's goalkeeper Bayhan Metin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tansu Tolgunay. Bayhan Metin came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Fenerbahçe's Ercan Sani. But to his dismay, Ercan Sani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Zekai Timur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emin Erçivan in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tansu Tolgunay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Ercan Sani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayhan Metin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nedim Salcan kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tefenni's goalkeeper Bayhan Metin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ertan Tüney hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Tefenni's Nedim Salcan got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Bayhan Metin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tansu Tolgunay, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Erdal Durul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
