Zekai Timur came out and tried to block the shot, but Akil Küdüs slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. Ercan Sani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arif Buğra Uçar struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Çağlar Soyuncu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenerbahçe. If Mustafa Ali Ersan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Çağlar Soyuncu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erdal Durul in the 24th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Erdal Durul managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenerbahçe's supporters rose to their feet, but Erdal Durul was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Çağlar Soyuncu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Özgür Dilan got free with Zekai Timur in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 47 minutes, Arif Buğra Uçar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenerbahçe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Buğra Uçar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tansu Tolgunay to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Armağan Talaş came free, but Zekai Timur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Çağlar Soyuncu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tansu Tolgunay's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Fenerbahçe's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because ÇETİN FK had won, even though Fenerbahçe had held more of the ball.
