Mustafa Ali Ersan took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nusrettin Özdoruk. Nusrettin Özdoruk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ercan Sani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Arif Buğra Uçar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dursun Ali Sabi's late challenge caught a Fenerbahçe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dursun Ali Sabi helped the player get up and apologised. Dursun Ali Sabi kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Sivasspor's Nusrettin Özdoruk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Ali Ersan in the 19th minute of play. Ercan Sani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Nusrettin Özdoruk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Fenerbahçe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aybar Şahsar to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute of the match Demircan Seyhun shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zekai Timur showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Baran Alp Yoruk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zekai Timur came out and tried to block the shot, but Baran Alp Yoruk slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baran Alp Yoruk in the 28th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Zekai Timur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baran Alp Yoruk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Zekai Timur skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 34 minutes into the game, Baran Alp Yoruk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sivasspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fenerbahçe the free kick. After 34 played minutes Sivasspor got a freekick which was hit by Baran Alp Yoruk. If Ercan Sani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Nurettin Mecnun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sivasspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fenerbahçe the free kick. Hasan Ali Özkoc hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Hatemi Ömür made the kick off in the second half. Ercan Sani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Nusrettin Özdoruk made a huge save. Tansu Tolgunay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erdal Durul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Erdal Durul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Nurettin Mecnun came free, but Zekai Timur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zekai Timur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serhan Sıratullah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erdal Durul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nusrettin Özdoruk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sivasspor's Nusrettin Özdoruk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Sivasspor from getting a goal against them. Zekai Timur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serhan Sıratullah, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Ercan Sani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erdal Durul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nusrettin Özdoruk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Baran Alp Yoruk kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Ercan Sani put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Nusrettin Özdoruk. Nusrettin Özdoruk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tansu Tolgunay's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute Serhan Sıratullah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zekai Timur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hatemi Ömür struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Zekai Timur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sivasspor. The Sivasspor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fenerbahçe were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
