Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rıfat Canbulat made the kick off which started today's match. If Ahmet Gündüz Karaoğlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meric's Kürşat Üçer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yiğit Can Taykoç in the 8th minute of play. If İlbey Tokhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Çetin Necip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When İlbey Tokhan came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Meric fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İlbey Tokhan couldn't finish the play. Ali Asım Dilan charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Asım Dilan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 minutes, Varol Yener mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Meric and the Güzelbahce players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Yiğit Can Taykoç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kürşat Üçer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Meric's Varol Yener got his second yellow card of the match in the 31st minute. The referee ordered Varol Yener off the ground. A collision led to Meric getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Varol Yener hit a great ball. Kürşat Üçer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rıfat Canbulat in the 35th minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, Güzelbahce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eralp Özdoru to maneuver through the defense. Rıfat Canbulat kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The Meric players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Güzelbahce were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Çetin Necip made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Çetin Necip notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Güzelbahce's Arif Bilge Demirbaş. Arif Bilge Demirbaş was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Meric's Abbas Özan got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 63 minutes, Abbas Özan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meric's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abbas Özan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Meric's Kürşat Üçer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eralp Özdoru in the 66th minute of play. Güzelbahce's Arif Bilge Demirbaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çetin Necip in the 70th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Çetin Necip left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meric fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Çetin Necip scored 3-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arif Bilge Demirbaş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Güzelbahce's zone, Çetin Necip stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arif Bilge Demirbaş came out of the goal and Çetin Necip tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Meric's Çetin Necip got a free kick in the 86th minute. Meric's Kürşat Üçer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Meric from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Güzelbahce booed when Meric was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osman Ali Köken didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Güzelbahce's Eralp Özdoru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. When the referee ended the match the Meric players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
