After having played for 27 minutes, Hasret Baltacı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALATASARAY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hasret Baltacı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute of the match, Hasret Baltacı tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eyüp Oğuralp saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 44 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe SK's goal looked a bit too open when Hasret Baltacı came free, but Eyüp Oğuralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Hasret Baltacı's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eyüp Oğuralp was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Eyüp Oğuralp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasret Baltacı in the 93rd minute of the match. GALATASARAY were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Fenerbahçe SK for a fine match.
