Cahit Şimşek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Development FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aras Mutlugün came free, but Cahit Şimşek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cengizhan Durusoy fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yakakent's protests and gave Cengizhan Durusoy a yellow card for diving instead. Cahit Şimşek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aras Mutlugün went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Cahit Şimşek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turabi Denizcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ahmet Bedri Hanbeyi came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Development FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Bedri Hanbeyi couldn't finish the play. Abdulbaki Hazer charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdulbaki Hazer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Yakakent getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Abdulbaki Hazer hit a great ball. Fikret Bahar struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Fırat Ahid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Development FC. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Şahap Bağcıoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fırat Ahid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şahap Bağcıoğlu in the 53rd minute of the match. Turabi Denizcan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cahit Şimşek came out and tried to block the shot, but Turabi Denizcan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şahap Bağcıoğlu in the 57th minute of play forced Yakakent's goalkeeper Fırat Ahid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Yakakent's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Bedri Hanbeyi came free, but Fırat Ahid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Development FC were awarded a corner. Şahap Bağcıoğlu went to the cornerflag to take it. Cahit Şimşek made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Aras Mutlugün sent off a good shot on target. Turabi Denizcan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Cahit Şimşek made a huge save. Şahap Bağcıoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fırat Ahid read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Development FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ensar Hacıbeyoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Cuma Mertoğul was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Şahap Bağcıoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fırat Ahid was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Azmi Nazım's late challenge caught a Development FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Azmi Nazım helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Yakakent got a freekick which was hit by Azmi Nazım. Fırat Ahid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şahap Bağcıoğlu's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Yakakent's Fırat Ahid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şahap Bağcıoğlu in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Abdulbaki Hazer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Yakakent's Azmi Nazım got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The Development FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Yakakent's performance. The match ended with a win for Yakakent.
