Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yaşar Nuri Baliç started the match with the kick off. Devlet Temizkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaşar Nuri Baliç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Devlet Temizkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaşar Nuri Baliç in the 5th minute of the match. If Yaşar Nuri Baliç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cezmi Yalaza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cihangir Aker in the 9th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Şerafettin Kantara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Istinye JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Şerafettin Kantara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Devlet Temizkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cezmi Yalaza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asaf Tüzüner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Harun Kutyan hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Cihangir Aker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cihangir Aker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cihangir Aker in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cezmi Yalaza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Istinye JK's Kılıç Yöntem shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Devlet Temizkan but with some difficulty. 0-1 became the score in the 34th minute when Asaf Tüzüner elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cihangir Aker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cezmi Yalaza having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Ilica got a freekick which was hit by Özgün Uzalp. 41 minutes into the match, Ilica's goalkeeper Devlet Temizkan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şerafettin Kantara. 46 minutes into the game, Ilica's Cihangir Aker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cezmi Yalaza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Asaf Tüzüner made a kick off. Devlet Temizkan came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Istinye JK's Yaşar Nuri Baliç. But to his dismay, Yaşar Nuri Baliç quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Devlet Temizkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yaşar Nuri Baliç, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Devlet Temizkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaşar Nuri Baliç in the 57th minute of play. Nebi Çağkar thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Devlet Temizkan, a very annoying self made goal in the 59th minute which led to 2-2. 66 minutes into the match, Istinye JK's goal looked a bit too open when Asaf Tüzüner came free, but Cezmi Yalaza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 minutes Istinye JK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kamil Ballı who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asaf Tüzüner in the 72nd minute of play forced Istinye JK's goalkeeper Cezmi Yalaza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilica's Devlet Temizkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yaşar Nuri Baliç in the 74th minute of play. Cihangir Aker's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cezmi Yalaza firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Şerafettin Kantara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Devlet Temizkan came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Istinye JK's Şerafettin Kantara. But to his dismay, Şerafettin Kantara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Devlet Temizkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şerafettin Kantara in the 86th minute of play. Devlet Temizkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaşar Nuri Baliç in the 91st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Istinye JK had won after a very even match.
