An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Fikret Visali in the 15th minute of play forced URASPOR's goalkeeper Üzeyir Arıcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esat Uluşahin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 20th playminute. Ahmet Fikret Visali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Esat Uluşahin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Halkali SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Esat Uluşahin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Üzeyir Arıcan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hazar Tuncay might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Üzeyir Arıcan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hazar Tuncay ran back to his position shaking his head. 28 minutes into the match, URASPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Hazar Tuncay came free, but Üzeyir Arıcan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Halkali SK's zone, İskender Cebir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muhsin Yılkan came out of the goal and İskender Cebir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esat Uluşahin got free with Üzeyir Arıcan in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of URASPOR booed when Halkali SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güralp Çetiner didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, İskender Cebir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hazar Tuncay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Fikret Visali took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Üzeyir Arıcan. Üzeyir Arıcan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Ahmet Fikret Visali's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Üzeyir Arıcan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Ali Berkant Ogansoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhsin Yılkan having to interfere. In the 59th minute Ahmet Fikret Visali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Üzeyir Arıcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Hazar Tuncay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Üzeyir Arıcan was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 67th minute, Esat Uluşahin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Halkali SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Hazar Tuncay sped through URASPOR's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Üzeyir Arıcan. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Halkali SK fully deserved thier win.
