Doğuhan Baykut who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Günay Necmi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 9th minute Zeynel Samih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ertaç Arıhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeynel Samih struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Ertaç Arıhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erzincan FK. In the 14th minute, Doğuhan Baykut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erzincan FK's Zeynel Samih got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Doğu Atletik's Doğuhan Baykut ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Günay Necmi. Günay Necmi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Özen Mahşer during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Özen Mahşer hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The supporters of Doğu Atletik booed when Erzincan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Hafiz Kiyas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Özalp Sezmen kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Doğuhan Baykut made the kick off in the second half. Zeynel Samih could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ertaç Arıhan made a huge save. 56 minutes into the match, Erzincan FK's Günay Kutyan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ertaç Arıhan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Doğuhan Baykut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Günay Necmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeynel Samih took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ertaç Arıhan. Ertaç Arıhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Doğuhan Baykut's late challenge caught a Erzincan FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doğuhan Baykut helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Doğu Atletik got a freekick which was hit by Doğuhan Baykut. Baran Alp Pekant hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Özalp Sezmen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Günay Necmi. Erzincan FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Ertaç Arıhan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 74 minutes into the match, Doğu Atletik's goal looked a bit too open when Günay Kutyan came free, but Ertaç Arıhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doğu Atletik's Ertaç Arıhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günay Kutyan in the 82nd minute of play. Ertaç Arıhan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Günay Kutyan took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Ertaç Arıhan to make any attempt to save it. In the 92nd minute of the game Karadeniz Uçkan made a throw-in which Mehmet Ferit Özen played forward. Erzincan FK's Günay Necmi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doğuhan Baykut in the 96th minute of play. Erzincan FK were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Doğu Atletik's much stronger midfield.
