Tugay Ilgıt had several of the Çapanoğlu FK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 3 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Halit Çolakoğlu as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 8th minute, Tokatspor's Korkut Tanver dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The Tokatspor fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Tokatspor's Tugay Ilgıt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Çapanoğlu FK's zone, Ender Öztek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halit Çolakoğlu came out of the goal and Ender Öztek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Tokatspor fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Tokatspor's Tugay Ilgıt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Halit Çolakoğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ender Öztek went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Arif Nihat Cansal struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Akif Özsahin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Çapanoğlu FK. Halit Çolakoğlu was a little too slow when Ender Öztek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 6-0. The supporters of Tokatspor booed when Çapanoğlu FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sercan Akbaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Tokatspor fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Tokatspor's Tugay Ilgıt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Halit Çolakoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tugay Ilgıt in the 38th minute of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Tugay Ilgıt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Çapanoğlu FK's Halit Çolakoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Halit Çolakoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tugay Ilgıt in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute of the match Tokatspor got a corner. Çapanoğlu FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Semih Enfal ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Tokatspor's corner Ender Öztek fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Halit Çolakoğlu quite easily take care of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tugay Ilgıt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Çapanoğlu FK booed when Tokatspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ender Öztek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Halit Çolakoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korkut Tanver, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 58 minutes Çapanoğlu FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Semih Enfal who took care of the corner kick. In the 60th minute Tugay Ilgıt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halit Çolakoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Tokatspor getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Aytaç Yöntem hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Tugay Ilgıt notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Çapanoğlu FK's Halit Çolakoğlu. Halit Çolakoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arif Nihat Cansal might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Akif Özsahin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arif Nihat Cansal ran back to his position shaking his head. Korkut Tanver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Semih Enfal lost his temper 78 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Recep Talha Balcıoğlu shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 82 minutes into the game, Semi Sönmezalp threw the ball into play from the sideline. Tokatspor's Ejder Köksan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Ender Öztek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tokatspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Ender Öztek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Halit Çolakoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oğuzer Pekşen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akif Özsahin having to interfere. Ender Öztek struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Halit Çolakoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tokatspor. 92 minutes into the match, Çapanoğlu FK's goal looked a bit too open when Tugay Ilgıt came free, but Halit Çolakoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tokatspor's Ender Öztek got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ender Öztek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Halit Çolakoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Tokatspor were the better team. Tokatspor's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
