Frank Sachs went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Frank Sachs got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Svante Björkdahl quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 34 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Sayvion came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Bruno Sayvion kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Svante Björkdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Jan-Erik Kjellberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Erik Kjellberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Bruno Sayvion struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bearnaise EA. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Germany booed when Bearnaise EA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Rolandsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Sayvion, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Sayvion went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Sayvion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. In the 70th minute, Bruno Sayvion made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 73rd minute, Willy Stieler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carl Kielstedt hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the game, Bruno Sayvion cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 81st match minute, Bearnaise EA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Kielstedt to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bearnaise EA's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Svante Björkdahl came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Sayvion, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Edgar Malmberg in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Germany's Linus Schwerner.
