The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Coşkun Eronat notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Buca FK's Emrullah İncel. Emrullah İncel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 7 minutes, Arda Göksel Ekincioğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buca FK and the Gülsehir FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arif Çelebi Uluç kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Coşkun Eronat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th minute of the match Birkan Baş sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emrullah İncel skillfully saved the ball. In the 25th match minute, Gülsehir FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birkan Baş to maneuver through the defense. If İbrahim Ethem Durali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by İsmet İren during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute, İsmet İren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Gülsehir FK's Vecdet Kınay got control of the ball when Gaffar Hattat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emrullah İncel came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Gülsehir FK's Coşkun Eronat. But to his dismay, Coşkun Eronat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Görkem Tükelay hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. A collision led to Buca FK getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Besim Tokel hit a great ball. Kutlay Nevsal, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Vecdet Kınay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Çelebi Uluç in the 43rd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Gülsehir FK's goalkeeper Vecdet Kınay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaffar Hattat. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arif Çelebi Uluç was the one to do the kick off. With splendid footwork İbrahim Ethem Durali arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-3 by the left pole in the game's 54th minute. After 57 played minutes Buca FK got a freekick which was hit by Arda Göksel Ekincioğlu. İbrahim Ethem Durali struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Emrullah İncel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gülsehir FK. After a defensive mix-up in Gülsehir FK's zone, Gaffar Hattat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vecdet Kınay came out of the goal and Gaffar Hattat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Besim Tokel kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Buca FK's goal looked a bit too open when İbrahim Ethem Durali came free, but Emrullah İncel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 minutes Buca FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kutlay Nevsal who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Gülsehir FK's Musa Menderes got a free kick in the 71st minute. When İsmet İren was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. Gaffar Hattat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coşkun Eronat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emrullah İncel having to interfere. A collision led to Gülsehir FK getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Görkem Tükelay hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Arif Çelebi Uluç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vecdet Kınay was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Behzat Hedef during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Behzat Hedef kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Gülsehir FK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
