Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fuat Koyak took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Haluk Vurgun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 6 played minutes Edirne got a freekick which was hit by Fuat Koyak. Burhanettin Usman took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorukhan Kutalp. Dorukhan Kutalp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 15th minute, Ali Haydar Haktanır hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Burhanettin Usman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Durmuş Uçhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Anıl Çavlı in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Mehmet Anıl Çavlı reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Durmuş Uçhan. The goal made the score 1-1. Burhanettin Usman kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Fuat Koyak's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Durmuş Uçhan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 40th minute of the match Berk Kotuzhan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorukhan Kutalp showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With 43 minutes on the clock, Ali Berkant Kürşat commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Haluk Vurgun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Dorukhan Kutalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haluk Vurgun was the one to do the kick off. Burhanettin Usman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Dorukhan Kutalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Edirne got a freekick which was hit by Fuat Koyak. The supporters of TRABZON SPOR booed when Edirne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Numan Kiray didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Haluk Vurgun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TRABZON SPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haluk Vurgun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by TRABZON SPOR's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fuat Koyak was slow to take the kick. During this time Edirne's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Fuat Koyak got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Durmuş Uçhan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 73rd minute, Edirne's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Haluk Vurgun fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Burhanettin Usman took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorukhan Kutalp. Dorukhan Kutalp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 82 minutes of play, TRABZON SPOR's Burhanettin Usman made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorukhan Kutalp was left in no man's land by his defense there! Haluk Vurgun struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Dorukhan Kutalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TRABZON SPOR. Edirne's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Haluk Vurgun 94 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. TRABZON SPOR's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
