Essahtan Spor's Birkan Akabe suffered a sore thigh after 6 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 6 minutes, Gani Safvet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Edirne and the Essahtan Spor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Essahtan Spor made a substitution. Dorukhan Yonal replaced Birkan Akabe. When Ali Haydar Haktanır fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edirne's protests and gave Ali Haydar Haktanır a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Edirne got a freekick which was hit by Ali Haydar Haktanır. Kayhan Uraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Tekin Ergüç notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Edirne's Dorukhan Kutalp. Dorukhan Kutalp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tekin Ergüç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorukhan Kutalp having to interfere. A collision led to Edirne getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. İlhami Aksoy hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Mehmet Anıl Çavlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İsmet Şemsi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Edirne's goal looked a bit too open when Celalettin İlenç came free, but Dorukhan Kutalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 minutes of play, Essahtan Spor's Celalettin İlenç made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorukhan Kutalp was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Essahtan Spor's Tekin Ergüç got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 43rd minute, Mehmet Anıl Çavlı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Edirne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.

52 minutes into the match, Edirne's goal looked a bit too open when Kayhan Uraz came free, but Dorukhan Kutalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorukhan Kutalp came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Essahtan Spor's Celalettin İlenç. But to his dismay, Celalettin İlenç quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After 63 played minutes Essahtan Spor got a freekick which was hit by Yakup Tümkurt. In the 67th minute, Celalettin İlenç left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Essahtan Spor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Tekin Ergüç hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 78 played minutes Edirne got a freekick which was hit by İlhami Aksoy. Dorukhan Kutalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kayhan Uraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute Tekin Ergüç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorukhan Kutalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hacı Ali Sarıalp hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When Kayhan Uraz came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Essahtan Spor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kayhan Uraz couldn't finish the play. Edirne's Dorukhan Kutalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tekin Ergüç in the 94th minute of play. Essahtan Spor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
