When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Reis Zafer took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gencal Ülgü to make any attempt to save it. The corner led Cinar SK's Hurşit Baray to fire away a dangerous shot which Ahmet Hamdi Keykavus despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 57th minute of the match Kılıç Kutal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gencal Ülgü showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sokartes's Rahman Yücesan suffered a concussion in the 61st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Hamza Yakup during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sokartes booed when Cinar SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Hamza Yakup didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Hamdi Keykavus came out and tried to block the shot, but Alaaddin Kuter slotted it home off the left post making it 5-2 in the 89th minute. The audience was convinced that Faruk Nafiz Burçak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gencal Ülgü was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Cinar SK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
