Spectators: 7099 (Terracing: 5599, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) When Mahmut Danış came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Charlotte Hornets fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mahmut Danış couldn't finish the play. The supporters of AyvalıkGücü booed when Charlotte Hornets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onuralp Cansoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Onuralp Cansoy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Charlotte Hornets's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AyvalıkGücü the free kick. Onuralp Cansoy hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute Şükrü Soysaltürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytaç Kalender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aytaç Kalender showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yıldırım Bozoğlu in the 13th minute of the match. With 18 minutes on the clock, Kazım Korgan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 19 played minutes, AyvalıkGücü's Mustafa Emrah Kılıçalp shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aytaç Kalender came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AyvalıkGücü reached it. After having played for 21 minutes, Sungurbey Gencay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charlotte Hornets's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sungurbey Gencay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute Aydemir Batıhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytaç Kalender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charlotte Hornets's Aytaç Kalender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yıldırım Bozoğlu in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Aydemir Batıhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytaç Kalender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mahmut Danış took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alptuğ Afgan. Alptuğ Afgan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Harun Özsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute, Aydemir Batıhan made a precise shot to the right of Aytaç Kalender. Charlotte Hornets's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Mahmut Danış recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Yıldırım Bozoğlu made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Charlotte Hornets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aras Sadullah to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Mustafa Emrah Kılıçalp sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Charlotte Hornets's Aytaç Kalender didn't even have to move. In the 54th minute, Mahmut Danış got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aytaç Kalender was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Cenan Yüce capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cenan Yüce really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harun Özsan during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mahmut Danış struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Alptuğ Afgan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Charlotte Hornets. Mahmut Danış might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alptuğ Afgan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mahmut Danış ran back to his position shaking his head. Aytaç Kalender took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yıldırım Bozoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Şükrü Soysaltürk suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Cuma Cansefa fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Charlotte Hornets's protests and gave Cuma Cansefa a yellow card for diving instead. Cuma Cansefa kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. AyvalıkGücü's Mustafa Emrah Kılıçalp couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Charlotte Hornets. Cenan Yüce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Aytaç Kalender made a huge save.
