The supporters of Balkes Spor booed when Alacam SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Turan Kartal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kadri Satı scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Güner Arınç, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruhi Bürgehan made a kick off. Abdurrezzak Tara charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Balkes Spor's Güner Arınç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruhi Bürgehan in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Alacam SK's goal looked a bit too open when Şaban Kerim came free, but Sarp Birtan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a left leg Güner Arınç saved Balkes Spor from getting behind. 86 minutes into the match, Ruhi Bürgehan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Güner Arınç, 0-3. Sarp Birtan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şaban Kerim in the 94th minute of play. Şaban Kerim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Alacam SK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
