Spectators: 5010 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 10) Skentepe FK's Bora Han Togay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Orçun Zahir didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bora Han Togay went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Bora Han Togay succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Kozan's Orçun Zahir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Kozan from getting a goal against them. If Bora Han Togay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 17 minutes, Ali Atıf Derviş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skentepe FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Atıf Derviş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Gündüz Sarif in the 19th minute of play forced Skentepe FK's goalkeeper Gökmen Asıf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gökmen Asıf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Gündüz Sarif, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Bora Han Togay's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Orçun Zahir skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 25th minute, Ali Atıf Derviş ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orçun Zahir was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 29th minute, Mehmet Emrah Başöz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Skentepe FK's goal looked a bit too open when Kaan Cevizoğlu came free, but Gökmen Asıf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Haşim Göçer lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 31 minutes into the game, one of Skentepe FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Skentepe FK's Bora Han Togay got a free kick in the 39th minute. Erman Acarbey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Ali Atıf Derviş got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Orçun Zahir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Atıf Derviş in the 46th minute of play.

A sloppy throw-in by Özden Cangiray in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Skentepe FK's Mehmet Emrah Başöz. In the 54th minute Ali Atıf Derviş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orçun Zahir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaan Cevizoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gökmen Asıf having to make a save. Macit Naci took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gökmen Asıf. Gökmen Asıf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After 62 minutes of play, Kozan's Ahmet Gündüz Sarif made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gökmen Asıf was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute, Duman Yalazay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orçun Zahir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Atıf Derviş in the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Skentepe FK's Erman Acarbey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orçun Zahir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. 83 minutes into the match, Skentepe FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Gündüz Sarif came free, but Gökmen Asıf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 6-3 when Ali Atıf Derviş sped through Kozan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Orçun Zahir. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Atıf Derviş in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orçun Zahir saved Kozan from getting behind. Skentepe FK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
