Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kaan Cevizoğlu started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Birdal Akkanoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tarakli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kozan the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tarakli's Birdal Akkanoğlu got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Macit Naci came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Feridun Okcun could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Gündüz Sarif during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kozan's Ahmet Gündüz Sarif got a free kick in the 9th minute. Orçun Zahir didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ayhan Erem went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Macit Naci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Feridun Okcun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Macit Naci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 played minutes Kozan got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Gündüz Sarif. After a rather tough play, Tarakli's Birdal Akkanoğlu got a free kick in the 34th minute. Naci Yenal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Feridun Okcun. Tarakli's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Kaan Cevizoğlu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Feridun Okcun. That made the score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. Kozan's Kaan Cevizoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tarakli's Feridun Okcun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Tarakli from getting a goal against them.

The wind increased when Ayhan Erem made the kick off in the second half. Cemalettin Sanat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orçun Zahir having to interfere. If Ayhan Erem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Macit Naci in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feridun Okcun saved Tarakli from getting behind. Ahmet Necdet Ezrak lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tarakli fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! Cemalettin Sanat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orçun Zahir having to interfere. Cemalettin Sanat struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Orçun Zahir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tarakli. Tarakli's Abdülhak Denizhan got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Kaan Cevizoğlu sped through Tarakli's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Feridun Okcun. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kozan had won after a very even match.
