Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kaan Cevizoğlu started the match with the kick off. Galip Metin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaan Cevizoğlu in the 4th minute of the match. Orçun Zahir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüsamettin Açıkel in the 6th minute of play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kozan's goalkeeper Orçun Zahir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kaan Cevizoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Galip Metin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. From a short distance, Kozan's Kaan Cevizoğlu, in the 15th minute, tried to place the ball behind Galip Metin, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. If Vecdet Koç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Kaan Cevizoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Bahcelievler JK's Sakut Bican got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Macit Naci succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 25th playminute. 30 minutes into the match, Bahcelievler JK's goal looked a bit too open when Kaan Cevizoğlu came free, but Galip Metin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Ahmet Oğuz Songur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bahcelievler JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kozan the free kick. After 31 played minutes Bahcelievler JK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Oğuz Songur. The Kozan fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Kozan's Macit Naci looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Bahcelievler JK booed when Kozan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aktan Tozan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Kozan's İlkan Erdemli got a free kick in the 38th minute. Orçun Zahir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vecdet Koç in the 39th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Bahcelievler JK's goalkeeper Galip Metin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaan Cevizoğlu. Sakut Bican received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Orçun Zahir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vecdet Koç to strike the kick off in the second half. Kozan's Kaan Cevizoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Bahcelievler JK's goal looked a bit too open when Macit Naci came free, but Galip Metin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Tibet Bayar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bahcelievler JK's Vecdet Koç got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bahcelievler JK's Sakut Bican got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Ahmet Gündüz Sarif hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Hüsamettin Açıkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes in the game, Vecdet Koç fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Orçun Zahir having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Aktan Tozan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vecdet Koç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orçun Zahir having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Bahcelievler JK's Vecdet Koç in the 85th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Orçun Zahir was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Kozan through an amazing save. If Vecdet Koç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atalan Arkın hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Bahcelievler JK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
