Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ayhan Erem started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Şaban Kerim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feridun Okcun was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Feridun Okcun came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Balkes Spor's Şaban Kerim. But to his dismay, Şaban Kerim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şaban Kerim in the 10th minute of play forced Tarakli's goalkeeper Feridun Okcun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Tarakli's goal looked a bit too open when Şaban Kerim came free, but Feridun Okcun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feridun Okcun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şaban Kerim, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Şaban Kerim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ayhan Erem hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Birdal Akkanoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şaban Kerim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Feridun Okcun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ayhan Erem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güner Arınç having to interfere. Ayhan Erem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Güner Arınç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balkes Spor's goalkeeper Güner Arınç, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Naim Ergüleç to make the kick off. If Ayhan Erem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarakli's Cemalettin Sanat got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ayhan Erem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Güner Arınç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Balkes Spor's zone, Cemalettin Sanat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Güner Arınç came out of the goal and Cemalettin Sanat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Güner Arınç stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ayhan Erem's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Balkes Spor's Güner Arınç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ayhan Erem in the 65th minute of play. When Aydın Mutluay fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balkes Spor's protests and gave Aydın Mutluay a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tarakli booed when Balkes Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aydın Mutluay didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Balkes Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Cemalettin Sanat came free, but Güner Arınç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Tarakli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birdal Akkanoğlu to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Naim Ergüleç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feridun Okcun was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Feridun Okcun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naim Ergüleç in the 77th minute of play. Cemalettin Sanat kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Şaban Kerim came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Balkes Spor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şaban Kerim couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Cemalettin Sanat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarakli's supporters rose to their feet, but Cemalettin Sanat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güner Arınç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Naim Ergüleç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Feridun Okcun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Balkes Spor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Balkes Spor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
