Kunter Müfit could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Sabahattin Vacit made a huge save. After 9 played minutes Nattandis SK got a freekick which was hit by İshak Oğuralp. Kunter Müfit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Fatih Siddik in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hıdır Boysan saved Gerze FK from getting behind. Kunter Müfit's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Sabahattin Vacit skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Ali Ömer Balkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led Gerze FK's Ahmet Gökalp Mümin to fire away a dangerous shot which Sabahattin Vacit despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When İshak Oğuralp fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nattandis SK's protests and gave İshak Oğuralp a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nattandis SK getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celil Akcebe to strike the kick off in the second half. Nattandis SK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
