When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Baran Onurad during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Demiralp Hançer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Şerif Bilgin. Sultanbeyli's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Cihan Demirman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sultanbeyli's supporters rose to their feet, but Cihan Demirman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alper Suerkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hakan Zikri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Ferit Çelikhan in the 85th minute of play forced Sultanbeyli's goalkeeper Şerif Bilgin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th match minute, Sultanbeyli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kerimhan Ciner to maneuver through the defense. Alper Suerkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cihan Demirman, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Ilgin FK support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
